Advisor to the Management Committee of Cranberry Moss Community Centre, Kilwinning.
Ann is Coach and group leader of Joe's Troup Baton Twirlers, who won European Bronze Medal in 2005 and one member was European Champion in 2004.

I was looking at the paintings of James Guthrie while painting Ann. I love the very Scottish greys from the Glasgow Boys palette and I attempted the same feel here. There is a timeless quality to Ann's face so I wanted to remove any signifiers of time and place and keep it simple and clean.
