Alan Gilbert

Alan is a full-time hairdresser, and a part-time farmer at his family farm in Beith.
There is a cool light in the byre coming from the skylights above, blanketing the scene in greys.
Alan says he was taken with the hairdressing bug when, as a boy, he would shampoo and groom the cows for agricultural shows up and down the country.
